A Home Away from Home: Habitat Planning’s Office Space

The day kicked off with a warm welcome at Habitat Planning’s office. Located in the heart of Albury, right next door to the fabulous Meraki Kitchen and opposite Thistle and Fern, their space exuded a sense of warmth and professionalism. Natural light flooded the reception and meeting room, creating an inviting atmosphere that instantly put us all in the creative zone.

We were tasked with capturing the essence of their workspace – from the bustling team meetings to the serene moments of deep concentration. The fresh office interior is all about “modern elegance,” and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to photograph it.

Habitat Planning understands the importance of a conducive work environment, and their office reflected just that. The bright, airy space was a true testament to their commitment to excellence.

The Dream Team

Next up, we got the privilege to photograph Habitat Planning’s fantastic team. We chose the fab creeping fig covered wall in Sadie Lane for this. When doing headshots for companies I always seem to be the most unpopular person in the room, I find that people are nervous and there are always rumblings along the lines of, “I don’t like having my photo taken…..” – but with the help of the lovely Kelly, Habitat’s Marketing and Communications Manager, we got the session underway. I started my comedy routine and gave gentle directions aaaaand we got it done AND we had fun doing it!!!!! It is always a relief to hear, “…that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be…..” when we are finished.

The team are close and work well together. Their regard for each other and passion for what they do was palpable, and it shows in the way they have coordinated and executed their projects.

What stands out is their dedication to knowledge and understanding of the planning framework. They believe that good planning is rooted in knowledge, and it’s evident in the incredible work they deliver.
